Our extensive drop-in hours provide quick and easy access to support. During these times anyone can come along and speak to one of the team without an appointment.
Who can come?
Absolutely anybody! Our drop-in sessions are for patients, carers, family members, friends or colleagues and also for potential volunteers, other healthcare professionals and supporters of Grove House. If you have a concern that you would like to discuss with someone, if there is specific information that you need or if you simply have an interest in life-limiting illness and want to find out more about what we do, please do drop-in and join us.
What will happen when I get there?
You will be greeted by a volunteer receptionist who will make you comfortable and offer you a cup of tea or coffee. A member of staff will then come and talk to you about how we can help or, if needed, book an appointment with one of our clinicians for a time that suits you. It may be that you simply need the chance to chat to a friendly face but if you need more specific information or support, someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
When and where are the Drop-in Sessions held?
Our Drop-in Sessions are Tuesday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm and Fridays from 9am to 1pm at Grove House, which is located next to St Albans City Hospital. Address and directions can be found here.
What does it cost?
All Rennie Grove services are provided at no cost to our patients and families. If you would like to make a donation to support our work, please go to our donate page.
