Bereavement support

Rennie Grove Peace’s bereavement support

Our bereavement support service offers a range of support to people living in Herts and Bucks who are coming to terms with the loss of a loved one.  Recognising that people grieve differently, we offer many avenues of support.  Whilst our adult and children bereavement counselling, group support and telephone line is for the families of our current and former patients we do offer other services for anyone experiencing bereavement including our Compassionate Cafes and live Chat. You can learn more about the ways we can support adults and children by following the links below.

Compassionate communities

Rennie Grove Peace’s Compassionate Communities offers community-based support to help beyond a patient’s palliative, end-of-life care and bereavement needs. The support is from diagnosis, working with local partners and volunteers to reach more people earlier. The focus is on tackling the loneliness and isolation often experienced by people who are facing a life-limiting illness or are affected by bereavement and loss.

Compassionate Cafés

Our Compassionate Cafés are drop-in sessions, in local cafés and venues, providing a welcoming space for people affected by any type of loss.
