Become a volunteer
and make a difference in your local community when you join the Rennie Grove volunteering team
Could you give the gift of time?
Time is precious – the gift of time priceless. Without the time our volunteers give to support all areas of our work, we couldn’t help all the families who need us.
If you have time to give and would like to join the Rennie Grove volunteering team, we’d love to hear from you! We have a wide range of volunteer roles with varying time commitments to suit people in different circumstances.
And if you have skills you’d like to use – or new skills you’d like to learn – do get in touch. We’d love to chat with you about how we might be able to help each other.
Types of volunteering opportunities
Volunteers support us in a wide variety of roles working in different locations and working environments.
With patients and families Could you volunteer as a driver offering patient transport, or a Supporting Hands volunteer providing companionship and practical help in patients’ homes? Do you have the skills and qualifications to support patients as a complementary therapist or counsellor?
With our fundraising team Join in the fun at a fundraising event, marshalling participants safely along the route at one of our challenge events. Alternatively, use your public speaking or networking skills to volunteer as a Rennie Grove Ambassador or community engagement volunteer.
With our shops or retail team For a fun, sociable role, look no further than your local charity shop! Join the team as a charity shop assistant, online retail hub volunteer, or volunteer driver. Use your retail skills or learn new ones, meet new people and help transform donated items into care for local families.
In one of our offices We have some great volunteer roles in our offices in Tring, St Albans and Chalfont St Giles. For example, volunteer receptionist roles in Bucks and Herts. In addition, HR admin and clinical clerical volunteer roles, as well as fundraising, marketing and finance roles.
