London Bridges Walk
When is it? 26 March 2023
Where is it? Starts at Battersea Park
Who can take part? Families, friends, anyone who loves a walk!
Join us for our walk across London’s iconic bridges this Spring!
Everyone can take part in this walk, enjoying some of London’s most iconic bridges and landmarks. You walk at your own pace, so there is time to stop for a coffee or buy lunch at one of the cafes along the route. We’ll provide you with a booklet containing facts about all the bridges and landmarks you pass along the route. This really is a fabulous day out for all the family!
Starting at the beautiful Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park, we have two routes you can choose from, a 5 mile route over 5 bridges and a 10 mile route over 12 bridges. Each route is easily accessible and we encourage you to bring the whole family, even your furry friends. The 5 mile route will end at Parliament Square and the 10 mile route will end at Tower Bridge.
At the end, you’ll receive a keepsake of the day as a thank you for having done something wonderful to support our cause.
This event is organised by our friends at Peace Hospice Care and will raise vital funds to provide care and support for adults and children with life-limiting illnesses in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
2023 London Bridges Walk
“We’ve taken part in the Bridges Walk every year since it started. Our main reason for taking part is to raise money for the hospice, but the attraction of this event is being able to walk through some picturesque and interesting areas of London. If you are thinking of doing the walk don’t be put off by the distance; the miles go by quickly as you take in the views!"
