We’d like to say a big thank you to The Pepper Foundation for its generous and ongoing support. Since its first donation in 1989, Pepper has dedicated its activities to raising funds for the Rennie Grove Children’s Hospice at Home service to ensure that local children with life-limiting conditions and complex health needs receive the care and support they and their families need.
Pepper has recently made a very generous donation of £500k to help fund the children’s service in 2020 and 2021. This brings the overall total of donations to over £5m since 1989. At a time when fundraising activities have been seriously impacted by the pandemic, this support is invaluable and we are very grateful to Pepper and its supporters for making this possible.
In addition to undertaking a full programme of fundraising activities throughout the year, including the highly successful Pepper Show, the Pepper team works with the children’s team to help organise and run activity days for the children we care for and their families. Sadly, these much loved social occasions have not been able to take place recently as a result of the pandemic, but, when restrictions lift, everyone is looking forward to enjoying them once again. Thank you once again to everyone at Pepper for all they do to support us.
