Challenge yourself in 2022

Had your fill of turkey and tinsel? Looking ahead to the New Year? If you fancy trying something new in 2022, we could have the perfect thing.

If you’re seeking a personal challenge to push you out of your comfort zone, we have plenty of options to offer you.

On May 14 – 15, you could walk, jog or run the Jurassic Coast Challenge, with 25km, 50km or 100km route options along the stunning Dorset coastline from Corfe Castle to Bridport. Or, over the last weekend of the month (May 28 – 29), you could start your walk, jog or run in the Capital and head out towards the sea in the London to Brighton Challenge. Part of the Ultra Challenge Event Series, featuring 14 treks and trail runs across the UK, these weekends are organised by a specialist company, giving you the benefit of their expertise as you experience stunning UK landscapes and landmarks and raise much-needed funds for local hospice care.

More details about these challenges along with the latest updates on our planned skydives and how to apply for our London Marathon golden bond places can be found at renniegrove.org/sponsoredchallenges.

Julie Davis, Senior Events Fundraiser, says: “We’re also very excited to continue to develop our own portfolio of challenge events at Rennie Grove. Based on the success of our first-ever Open Water Swim at Merchant Taylors’ Lake last May, we’re planning an open water distance challenge for May ’22 at the same venue, as well as a family festival and several shorter swim challenges later on in the summer.”

These water challenges join our other established events in an exciting programme for 2022. To find out more, please go to renniegrove.org/events and fill in the forms and we’ll keep you in touch with all the latest news about the events you’re interested in.

Or if you have your own personal challenge in mind, we’d love you to raise funds for us. “We can support you with fundraising ideas, training tips and inspirational updates to motivate you and your supporters,” says Julie.
