Boutique chic in Beaconsfield

Here at Rennie Grove we are bringing a touch of upmarket chic to our retail operations with the launch of a beautiful new boutique-style range of stores.

First up on the retail makeover catwalk is our existing shop in Beaconsfield’s Penn Road. To give the boutique its own distinctive feel, our traditional pink and purple palette is being swapped in favour of fashionable grey-green shades.

Helping to give our new Reloved Boutique its own special ambience, the new-look store will specialise in second-hand designer labels and high-end fashion.

Our 26 shops across Bucks and west Herts are crucial to our work in supporting families affected by life-limiting illness. Rennie Grove’s Hospice at Home service is unique in our area and is provided at no cost to patients or their families. To fund it, however, we need to raise just over £8 million a year. That’s the equivalent of £20,000 every day.

In 2019-20 our retail operations contributed £3.3 million but we want to do more and the Reloved Boutique range is part of that ambition.

Nicola Flood, Buying, Merchandising and Business Development Manager at Rennie Grove, is clear. “We want to reach a wider audience so our shops can fund care for more people. To do that we must meet the needs of the local population and offer prospective customers a shopping solution that resonates with their values, habits and preferences.

“There’s a real drive for sustainable fashion now. People want to be part of the circular economy, especially when it comes to stunning party pieces and exquisite ‘occasional’ outfits. You may only wear them once but why shouldn’t someone else wear them too? That’s the ethos behind our boutiques and we hope local people will be thrilled to donate and discover some gorgeous designer labels and brands.”
